to inform you that I have selected Mr.

M. B. (Durham) Francis William Clark for appointment

as Assistant Surgeon in the Government

Meal Department, Hong Kong, and that

he will leave this country in about a

month from this date.

give him a formal letter of appointment

when he arrives in the Colony, stating
